In an attempt to cook something for Antara, Aditya makes a mess in the kitchen. Vidya cooks a variety of dishes to encourage Antara to eat. Vidyas efforts pay off as Antara starts eating the food prepared by her. Aditya suggests that they should break the fixed deposit which is in Abhisheks name, to bear the expenses. But Vidya opposes him. Depsite of Vidyas staunch opposition, Aditya decides to use money from their savings for Antaras treatment rather than Abhisheks education. Aditya sternly warns Mrs. Gupta against trying to harm Antara again. Aditya returns home and tells Vidya that he could not bring himself to use their savings for Antaras treatment.
