Gunjan is shocked and ask what’s wrong with him and he says that she made a fool of him dancing to that song, wore what she wanted, picked up her friends and didn’t bother about him and is selfish. He says Charu is much better than her and says he wished and stops mid sentence. Shail tells them to stop fighting. Gunjan tells her to let him say what he wants and asks him what is it. Mayank says he wish he didn’t say no to marrying Charu. Gunjan and everyone else are shocked but Seema and Sangeetha are happy. Mayank says even after breaking the relation with Charu she still cares for his mother. Gunjan tells him to live his life with whomever he wants to be with. Mayank walks to Charu holds her hands and puts his hands around her and says he’s decided to marry Charu and that Charu is the right girl for him. Everyone is shocked except for Seema and Sangeetha. Gunjan is shocked and upset.
Seema and sangeeta are celebrating with ladoos in their room. Sangeeta tells seema to be careful as Gunjan is really smart. Seema tells her not to worry she has a plan . Dayal is lost in the events , Shayl comes in and apologizes. Dayal says its his fault that he slapped Mayank. Shayl believes Mayank made a mistake and she's amazed how can he do it. Dayal tells her that they took the decision themselves but we supported them but now Mayank is breaking the relationship. Shayl is worried about Savitri Devi's reaction, and they decide that Rachna and Vihaan should get engaged asap. Dayal tells Shayl that they will do everything for Gunjan which will be good for her and is ashamed of what he will tell Akash.
Mayank is in his room playing with the light switch when Seema enters and comforts him. She says she will apologize to Gunjan but adamant Mayank wants Gunjan to say sorry in front of his mom and the family. Shayl overhears and scolds him that how could he not only break the relation but also propose to Charu. She tells him that there were so many people including Rachna's inlaws. Shayl tells him not to take any decision which he will regret later. She tells him to talk it out with Gunjan but he does not pay heed . Shayl advises Mayank to sleep so that they can discuss it in the morning, Seema to let Mayank rest and not keep talking about what happened.
Gunjan and Mayank both want the other person to apologize and decide they won't be the first one to bend. Shayl comes to feed Gunjan, Gunjan asks Shayl what would she do in her place,if she would keep a relation with a man who does not trust her ? Shayl says who is she to reply they are in love, they faced so many problems together. She tells her that walking on two different paths is easy but walking together on one path is tough. She says that Gunjan is mature enough to take her own decisions but she should never lose her self respect as it is tough to survive after that.
Shail and Gunjan were talking and Shail as a mother tries to make her understand to give some time to Mayank and Gunjan understands what Shail wants to say. Gunjan says that Mayank is a good person and if he comes to her and apologises she will definitely forgive him. Shail brings food for her. Rachna was listening all outside the gate and directly goes to Mayank and tells how much Gunjan loves him so he should say sorry to her but he carries on his push-ups and disagree Rachna. He declines apologising to Gunjan and asks Rachna not to interfere in their matters. Rachna again asks him whether he loves Gunjan or not, he again got up angry and Rachna moves outside.
Whole family are at dinning table. Mayank and Gunjan were absent. Seema says to all that Gunjan made mistake and Mayank is right. But Shail opposes her that both made mistakes and both should not break up their relation.
At Vihaan's house, Vihaan's parents talk about what has happened at the roka ceremony. Savitri Devi rethinks whether she is right to fix marriage with Rachna or not but Vihaan's father opposes her that Vihaan is going to marry Rachna not her family. Vihaan also praises Rachna that she is an innocent girl and different from all other college girls.
Prabhu was angry with the act of Mayank and says that he should be kicked out of the house because of his acts. But Dayal tells him to be patient and to give some time to Gunjan and Mayank.
Seema and Sangeeta both were happy with what has happened and Prabhu asks Seema to scold his dear son but Seema got angry and says that no one will say anything to Mayank. In the mean while Shail got tensed about Gunjan and Mayank's relation and thinks that no one can do anything, all can be done only by only Gunjan and Mayank.
Shail again tries to make Gunjan to talk to Mayank but Gunjan refuses that Mayank made mistake why should she apologise. Shail tells her all about relation, love and marriage. Rachna also tries to make Gunjan apologise and she got up ready to apologise. While Gunjan was going to Mayank's room, he got a call from Charu and Charu tries being so sweet so that she can enter into Mayank’s mind. Mayank says to charu if Gunjan could be sweet like her. Charu tries to make him angry through her words.
While Gunjan is at the hall she gets flashback of what Mayank said to her and cries. Rachna comes and asks her not to cry and carry on. Gunjan outside the Mayank's room sees Mayank talking so nicely to Charu and runs away from there in her room and cries a lot, talks to herself that she is most hurt by Mayank's words and he is apologising to chaaru rather than apologising her.
