Aditya tries to prepare Antara for the `Dahi Handi (an Indian festival) celebrations. Vidya starts pondering when her neighbours show her the clothes they have purchased for their children. Facing a financal crunch, Vidya thinks of ways to buy new clothes for the children. Mrs. Gupta suggests buying new clothes only for Abhishek. When Vidya tells Aditya about Mrs. Guptas suggestion, he agrees. Since Vidya lacks money to buy clothes for Abhishek and Antara, she approaches her mother for financial help. Aditya's attempts to get Antara ready for the `Janmashtami celebrations fail. But Vidya manages to convince Antara. Decked in new clothes, Antara draws everyone's attention at the party. Mrs. Gupta feels that pairing Billu with Antara for the dance competition is a bad idea. Under the pretext of watching over her, Mrs. Gupta takes Antara away from Aditya and locks her in a room. But Mrs. Gupta's plan falls flat when Billu refuses to dance without Antara. Aditya is shocked when he finds Antara locked in a room.
