Raj sees Mitali angry and says he knows she is angry that he cannot take her on vacation and asks her to calm down as she will feel more hungry. She says even if she falls down, he will not pick her up. He says he is her husband and he can both love and scold her. She says after breaking fast, she will get a gift from him. He asks if she is fasting for money. He says she loves him a lot and so she is staying with him even though he does not have a penny.
Tanu is unable to resist the temptation and finally decides to eat the pizza, she asks Aliya to open the pizza box as she is feeling very hungry. They both start hogging the pizza and enjoying its taste. Abhi later enters their room and seeing him, they immediately hide the pizza box. He asks when she cannot be hungry for more than 2 hours, then how will she fast for whole day. She says she loves him a lot and does not want him to be trouble in future, so she is fasting. He gets happy and hugs her, touches the sauce on her hand and gets worried thinking it as blood. He sucks her finger and feels sauce. Tanu worriedly throws the pizza on the floor. After a while Abhi sees the pizza iying on the floor and enquiries about it with Tanu but Aaliya intervenes that it was she who was eating the pizza and order for the pizza and Tanu is fasting for him, she has told me she will break fast only from your hand. Abhi believes them and thinks Tanu is fasting genuinely for him and Pragya is just acting and leaves the room. Once Abhi leaves, she thanks Aaliya. Aaliya says even she would have done the same thing if she was in her place and they both again start enjoying the pizza.
Meanwhile, the preparation for Karva Chauth goes on in full swing. Abhi gets ready in a pathani suit. He sees Dasi praising Pragya’s mehandi and a lot of ladies around and says his house is looking like a television set. Dasi says it is Pragya’s first karva chauth today and these ladies have come to cheer her up and break fast with her. Abhi says it is boring here and let us play a game. A lady says she does not want to play antakshari. He says everyone are married here but two girls say they are unmarried and fasting for their would be husbands. Abhi says let us play game now and he will ask each lady questions, he will start with his wife first and asks Pragya if she saw the moon in dark other than real one. She reminisces her marriage with him and then her romantic moments. Rabba ki kara….song plays in the background. He asks her again. She remembers an incident where she falls into the water from bridge and he rescuing her.
Abhi talking to a few ladies who have gathered for Karva Chauth fast function that he went on a special date with a special girl 1 year ago. Pragya feels bad when she hears talking about this special girl and finally walks away from there. Two girls start fighting that Abhi went on a date with them and want to know who the special girl was. Tanu tells Aaliya that Abhi went on date with her and these girls also wanted to go with him, so he went with them separately first and then went with me later. Daasi asks the ladies to stop fighting and sends them out. She asks what was he telling them. He says he wanted to tell them that he spent time with Daadi and these girls before saying anything, they started fighting. Dasi twists his ears and asks him to stop joking.
Meanwhile, Tanu's attempt at fasting for Karva Chauth seems to be troubling her as she is very hungry and thinks how people will fast for such a long time and seeing a few chocolates she gets more tempted and finally eats the chocolates. Pragya sees her eating the chocolates and says she knows she is acting as fasting and only she has the right to fast for Abhi, that if she would have really loved Abhi, she would have fasted for him but says that she will not tell Abhi or inform about this to anyone as she wants Abhi to be happy always and also adds that she is not fit to fast for Abhi. Tanu thinks why only Pragya see her eating.
Later, all the women gather on the terrace to sight the moon and break their fast. Mitali brings her thali and stands next to Pragya. She sees her stumbling and asks how can she fast even after feeling so weak. Pragya tells her it needs determination. Daadi's hear her words and praise Pragya for being so determined. Just then Abhi sees his Daadi stumbling. Dasi tells Daadi that she is worried about Pragya and did not have her medicine. Abhi gets angry with his Daadi for not taking her medicines and forcefully takes her to her bedroom and asks her to rest, but Daadi says she wants to see Pragya breaking her fast. Abhi says he cannot see her like this. Daadi asks him to be with Pragya then and take care of her until she breaks her fast. Abhi agrees but thinks Pragya is acting and Daadi is ruining her health believing Pragya, he will teach her a lesson.
Abhi throws Pragya’s thali, shouts at her and asks her why is she making a drama and holds her responsible for troubling Daadi. She says she is not acting. He says he just cares about Tanu and had gone on a date with her 1 year, Tanu is fasting for him by heart and not making drama like her. He says when we both are not happy together, then why is she fasting. He says further that our love in front of Daadi is all a drama and she has to get that and has to understand that he loves Tanu and hates her. He takes out her glasses, but just then Abhi sees the moon in Pragya's eyes and says when he sees her eyes, he feels like…..Pragya asks what. He calms down and says he is seeing moon in them. Daasi calls all the women to break their fast. Abhi asks her to go and continue her drama. Pragya feels happy knowing this and thinks how did he see moon in her eyes when he did see the real moon at all and decides that means he is made for me. He thinks how can he see moon in her eyes and decides she must have hypnotized him.
Abhi goes up to the terrace. Tanu takes him to a corner and asks why is he roaming behind Pragya instead of her. He starts looking into her eyes and says he is trying to find out the moon. She says the moon comes in the sky and not in her eyes. He says then how did he see it in Pragya’s eyes and she must have hypnotized him. She says he will break fast with Pragya in front of everyone and she will have to wait for a long time. Daasi drags Pragya and Abhi and asks them to dance. Meanwhile, all the ladies wait for the moon sighting. Tauji scolds Taiji for not fasting for him and eating all the time. Dasi says though the moon is playing hide and seek, they can dance and enjoy till it comes out. She drags Abhi and Pragya and starts dancing around them.
Daasi drag Pragya to the dance floor. Tanu thinks she should push Pragya and make her fall, but should see Abhi is not around her, else he will rescue her. She tries to push her, but instead pushes the ladies around. The ladies start fighting with her and Abhi rescues her from them. He hears the ladies talking that if fast breaking water falls, it is a bad sign. He thinks Pragya is very religious and will not drink water if it falls down. He thinks of executing his plan, but stops seeing Daadi coming there. Tanu tries to look at Abhi and break her fast, but an old man come in front of her. He says it is a good sign for her. Tanu says it is a bad sign for him as his wife saw him doing that. The man’s wife sees this and scolds him and Tanu smirks.
Abhi does not want to break Pragya's fast and tries to ruin her Karva Chauth celebration, drinks Pragya’s
water saying he is very thirsty. She asks if he needs more water. He says no. Daadi comes there and asks Abhi why is he not feeding water to Pragya. He tells his Daadi the tumbler is empty. He gets happy seeing his plan executing well but after a while Pragya feels dizzy and is about to fall down. Abhi catches her and makes her drink a glass of water not knowing that he has helped her break her fast and made her Karva Chauth a success. Daadi and everyone gather around Pragya. Daadi thanks god that Pragya’s first karva chauth is finished. All the guests clap from Pragya. Tanu on the other hand gets furious as inspite of her warning Abhi had helped Pragya break her fast and walks out from there. She eagerly waits for Abhi to come and console him. Daadi pamper Pragya and says she will be alright if she eats sweets. She asks Abhi to feed gajar halwa to Pragya. Abhi says she herself will eat it. Daadi says he has to, and he hesitantly agrees.
