Chibok Girls: NUT warns FG against broken promises

The Nigeria Union of Teachers on Thursday urged the Federal Government not to renege on its promises of scholarships, rehabilitation and employment to the recovered 21 Chibok Girls.Speaking in a telephone interview with our correspondent on Thursday, the NUT President, Mr. Michael Alogba-Olukoya, advised against abandoning the girls, adding that it would hinder the process of reintegrating them into the society. He cited the case of Ese Oruru, the teenager who was allegedly abducted and impregnated in Bayelsa State by Yunusa Haliru, one of her mother’s customers,  in 2015.
